Overview

This trek through the remote wilderness of western Nepal offers a superb experience of nature and a visit to Rara Lake, the Nepal’s Largest Lake at 3062 meter. The Karnali region is the long ridges which are covered with temperate forests and beautiful alpine pastures that enclose the high valleys. The best time to trek in the western part of Nepal is autumn (September, October & November) and spring (March, April and May). The nights are cold (about -10 C to 5C) but the days are sunny and hot (approximately 10C to 20C). Mentioned months are the most popular and favourable months for trekkers and this region being located in rain shadow. Trekkers should keep in mind that this is an adventure trekking trip into the remote area of western northern Nepal, where many unforeseen events may occurs during trekking and may need to change in your trekking Itinerary.

    Arrival in Kathmandu, meet at the airport and transfer to Hotel.
  • Day 02:
    Fly Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (afternnon flight) and transfer and stay at Hotel Batika/Sneha
  • Day 03:
    Fly Nepalgunj – Jumla and trek to Urthu (2530 m)
  • Day 04:
    Danphe Langna (3130 m)
  • Day 05:
    Chautha (2770 m)

  • 3 nights accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast on twin share basis
  • 1 night accommodation in Nepalgunj with breakfast and dinner on twin share basis
  • Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Jumla and return flight ticket for guest and guide
  • Nepalgunj to and from transfer by bus and Jumla flight for staffs (cook, sherpa and kitchen boy)
  • 10 nights full board (BLD) camping trek and tented accommodation entire trek
  • An english speaking trekking guide, cook, sherpa, kitchenboy and necessary porters
  • All camping equipments and food with cargo fee and trekking permit
  • National Park Permit & TIMS (required passport copy and 3 picture for permit).
