Rolwaling Valley Trek

Overview

The Rolwaling Valley Trek is a bold and beautiful 28-day trans-Himalayan journey that begins in the lush and mystical Rolwaling Valley and ends in the iconic Khumbu (Everest) region. Starting from Karthali, the trail winds through traditional villages like Dolangsa, Bigu Gompa, and Simigaon, offering a glimpse into authentic Sherpa culture. As the journey progresses, trekkers ascend into the high alpine world of Tsho Rolpa Lake (4534m)—one of Nepal’s largest glacial lakes. From there, the route becomes more remote and technical, culminating in the dramatic crossing of Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m) into the Everest region. This trek is ideal for experienced trekkers seeking raw wilderness, solitude, and a unique connection between two of Nepal’s most beautiful mountain corridors.
